Kathryne Janz is the Deputy Superintendent of Insurance and Policy Officer for Insurers within the Securities and Insurance Branch of the Department of Community Services, Yukon Government.

With over 15 years of public sector experience, Kathryne has held several senior positions within the Property Assessment and Taxation Branch of the Yukon Government, including Senior Assessor, Chief Territorial Assessor, and Director.

Prior to her government career, Kathryne gained valuable experience in the private sector as the owner of an appraisal firm and a professional Property Appraiser.

Kathryne has previously served as President of a non-profit society and member of the International Association of Assessing Officers’ Ethics Committee.
