Haseeb Rehman


Haseeb Rehman

Haseeb Rehman is Senior Vice President for Product, Proposition, and National Underwriting in Personal Lines for Aviva Canada. Leading functional teams focused on product, underwriting, oversight of underwriting processes and underwriting fraud, he is responsible for optimizing insurance risk management to support profitable growth through underwriting strategies and playing an active role in development of personal lines insurance solutions which includes product development and evolution. His mandate also includes accountability for Aviva Canada’s personal lines group, lifestyle and Royal Bank of Canada’s (RBC) Insurance business segments. He has been with Aviva Canada since August 2025.

An Actuary by training, Haseeb has 15 years of experience in the Actuarial areas of Reserving, Planning, Pricing and Analytics. Prior to Aviva, Haseeb held senior leadership roles at Desjardins Insurance within Actuarial and Underwriting, most recently as Desjardins Insurance’s Personal Lines Underwriting Officer with leadership of the Product, Corporate Underwriting, Operational Underwriting and Client Complaint Management Centre for Desjardins’ over $ 7.5B personal lines book.

He has extensive experience in pricing, and managing personal lines P&C products in Canada, and continues to play an active role in the industry through various industry committees, forums and consultations. Haseeb holds a Bachelor’s degree (BMath) in Actuarial Science with Finance from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and York University’s Schulich School of Business. He is a Fellow of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
