To Financial Officers of IBC Reporting Companies
Attached is your Annual Balance Reconciliation (ABR) package for the 2009 calendar year. The ABR is a mandatory filing that is specified in the Statistical Plans as a means of verifying that IBC, as the Service Provider to GISA as the statistical agent for the participating insurance regulators, has received all of the data subject to statistical reporting.
The attached package includes:
1. GISA Bulletin GISA-2009-01 -- outlining filing requirements
2. 2009 Annual Balance Reconciliation Instructions and Line Guide -- explaining the ABR
process, and provides line-by line instructions for completing the return.
3. 2009 Reconciliation Return -- and Excel workbook to be completed, and signed by the
authorized financial officer of the company.
The completed 2009 Annual Balance Reconciliation return is due Monday, March 15, 2010.
